Terms of Use
Version: v2.0
Effective date: 2026-04-13
Last updated: 2026-04-10
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ARKAD Wallet mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Operator Information
ARKAD Wallet is operated by:
- Maksim Pegov, residing in Poland, and
- Artur Szczypta, residing in Poland
(collectively referred to as "we", "us", or "our").
The Service is currently not operated through a registered legal entity. Until a separate company is incorporated, the above-listed individuals act as the service providers and data controllers for ARKAD Wallet.
For legal notices and inquiries, contact: legal@arkadwallet.com
2. Description of the Service
ARKAD Wallet is a personal finance tracking application that allows users to:
- Manually record income and expenses
- Input transactions via voice, converted to text
- Automatically categorize transactions using AI tools
- Create budgets and savings goals
- View informational dashboards and financial summaries
The Service does not connect to banks, does not import external financial data, and does not hold, transfer, or manage user funds. All financial data stored in the Service is manually provided by users.
3. Informational Purpose Only
The Service provides organizational and informational tools only.
ARKAD Wallet does not provide:
- Financial advice
- Investment advice
- Tax advice
- Legal advice
AI-generated categorizations and outputs are automated suggestions based solely on user-provided input. They may contain errors and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You can create multiple accounts.
You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Fees, Subscriptions, and Payments
6.1 Freemium Model
The Service operates on a freemium model. A free tier is available to all users. Free-tier users may use voice input to create transactions up to 30 times per calendar month. This counter resets on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. Unused voice inputs do not carry over to the following month.
6.2 ARKAD Wallet Pro
ARKAD Wallet Pro is a paid subscription that provides, at minimum, unlimited voice input usage. We may add or modify features available to ARKAD Wallet Pro subscribers at any time. The current feature set is described in the App Store and Google Play listings.
By subscribing, you gain access to all features included in ARKAD Wallet Pro at the time of your subscription and any features added during your active subscription period, unless otherwise stated at the time of addition.
6.3 Pricing and Billing
- The price of ARKAD Wallet Pro is displayed in the Apple App Store and Google Play at the time of purchase, in your local currency including any applicable taxes.
- ARKAD Wallet Pro is billed on a monthly basis.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- All billing is handled by Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not store or process payment card details.
6.4 Auto-Renewal
Your ARKAD Wallet Pro subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.
6.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period — you retain access to ARKAD Wallet Pro until that date.
You can cancel through any of the following methods:
- In the app: Settings → Manage Subscription (opens the native App Store or Google Play subscription management screen)
- iOS directly: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → ARKAD Wallet Pro
- Android directly: Google Play app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ARKAD Wallet Pro
After cancellation takes effect, your account automatically reverts to the free tier (30 voice inputs per calendar month).
We do not issue partial refunds for unused days within a billing period, except where required by applicable law or by the refund policy of the relevant platform.
6.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change the price of ARKAD Wallet Pro at any time. Before any price change takes effect, Apple App Store and Google Play will notify you in accordance with their platform policies.
For auto-renewing subscriptions, price increases require your explicit confirmation through the relevant platform before the new price takes effect — this consent process is managed by Apple and Google, not by us. If you do not confirm the new price, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period by the platform.
Price changes will not apply retroactively to any billing period already paid for.
6.7 Refund Policy
Refund requests are governed by the refund policies of Apple App Store and Google Play respectively. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google through their standard support channels.
6.8 Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase of ARKAD Wallet Pro, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in your country of residence.
Because all billing and payments for ARKAD Wallet Pro are processed exclusively by Apple App Store and Google Play, all refund and withdrawal requests must be submitted directly through those platforms:
- iOS: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Purchase History, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ARKAD Wallet Pro
We acknowledge your statutory right of withdrawal. As we do not process payments directly, we are unable to issue refunds ourselves — the platform through which you purchased is the appropriate point of contact for any refund or withdrawal request.
Nothing in this section limits any other mandatory consumer rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
- Scrape or systematically collect data
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without authorization
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, branding, and design, remain the exclusive property of the operators of ARKAD Wallet.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for financial losses resulting from user decisions.
- We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated categorizations.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of ARKAD Wallet from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Change subscription pricing
- Temporarily or permanently shut down the Service
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by sending a notification within the app or to your registered email address before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and applicable European Union law.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.
